July 29 through August 2, 2019
9am to 3:30pm
Foss Waterway Seaport’s 2019 Summer Science SeaCamp is for upcoming 4th, 5th, and 6th graders (ages 9-12). The camp is offered in partnership with Pierce County Parks and Recreation. It is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) camp with a focus on the marine world and our connections to it. Campers will explore our local environments – on-shore and on-the-water – using inquiry, critical thinking and a bunch of fun!
The overarching goal of SeaCamp is to foster a personal connection between the campers and our local marine life so that they become environmental stewards, take better care of the natural world, and learn about the process of science.
Registration for Summer Science SeaCamp will be coordinated through the Pierce County Parks and Recreation online registration system.
