– Foss Waterway Seaport is temporarily CLOSED –

While the announcement by Governor Inslee to allow cultural organizations in Phase 2 and Phase 3 counties across our state to begin to reopen safely was definitely good news, the Seaport along with our Tacoma Museum District partners are opting to push pause on our restart. Over the coming days and weeks we will continue to meet with local Pierce County health officials to review the most up-to-date local health information and to ensure that our reopening plan is informed by the most current local health information and Health Department recommendations.

We are eager to welcome our community back into the Seaport for connection, learning opportunities, and creative experiences and we have been working hard over the past several months to prepare our staff and our building to open our doors, and we remain committed to making re-opening decisions that will ensure our ability to provide safe, engaging, and meaningful experiences for our visitors when we welcome them back.
