A pod of illuminated whales cascades just inside the Foss Waterway Seaport museum. Lanterns made of resined fabric by artist and scientist Kristian Brevik, they echo the beauty and fragility of endangered species that swim in our own waters. Part of the Tacoma Light Trail, this dazzling light art is visible from the dock and street every night through March 2021.
