Community support for the Foss Waterway Seaport is vital to our success. We greatly appreciate the financial support and dedicated energies of our current and past members and we hope you will continue your involvement by renewing your membership. If you are not a member, please consider joining the Seaport today.
You can help us reach one of our important milestones in 2009. We want to add at least 200 new members to our support base this year. As a new member you will be joining a large group of people who are saying "Yes! We want a waterfront gathering place that highlights the history of Tacoma's working waterfront and offers access to on–water education opportunities and recreational fun. We embrace the larger vision of a dynamic and historic Seaport with a variety of activities and services for Tacoma and the region."
Members of the Foss Waterway Seaport receive free admission, a 10 percent discount at the museum store (by presenting your membership card) and on event/meeting space rental, discounts on educational programs/lectures/workshops, a subscription to our quarterly newsletter Soundings, and an invitation to our annual "crew only" party.
We have a variety of membership levels:
- Student – $25 (general benefits high school/college with student ID)
- Individual – $50 (general benefits)
- Family – $100 (1 or 2 named adults, children under 18, four guest passes)
- Sustaining – $250 (six guest passes)
- Sponsor – $500 (eight guest passes)
- Benefactor – $1000 (ten guest passes)
As a member plan to enjoy our newly renovated space, our historic building, additional programming and new exhibits, but also know that you are HELPING the Seaport demonstrate broad community support through your membership donation.
